The company is making sweeping changes, including hiring a new team to help employees across the company navigate HR investigations, a new training regime for managers and an internal review of backlogs that were ignored.

Although the sample size is small, this new data suggests that some Microsoft employees still feel marginalized in the Microsoft culture because of their gender identity.
While several hundred employees have contributed to this internal sharing of salary information, additional salary data sets are available online. The largest is Levels.fyi, which has nearly 4,000 entries from Microsoft employees as of 2017.
